The duo’s previously unheard song, Wheels, was written during sessions forStainless Style– their Mercury shortlisted concept album inspired by the life of automobile impresario John DeLorean – this track concerns “Johnny Carson’s involvement as one of the financiers of the Delorean Motor Company”. It is now available exclusively as part of Lex 10th anniversary compilation Complex.
The latest addition to Complex, Lex 10th Anniversary compilation, is a remix by Dave Sitek of a brand new track by DOOM calledRHYMIN’ SLANG, originally produced by Dr Who Dat? (aka Jneiro Jarel).
This track is available as MP3 single and included on the Complex 12″ vinyl picture disc exclusively from Lex online store HERE. Danger Mouse has been nominated as Producer of the Year for the 5th time at the Grammy Awards. His work this year includes Rome (with Daniele Luppi), featuring Jack White and Norah Jones as well as Broken Bells EP Meyrin Fields. The results will air on February 12, 2012.
Josh Klinghoffer of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Eric Avery of Jane’s Addiction will be joining Boom Bip’s band for the second live show of their residency at The Satellite (formerly Spaceland) in LA. Support from Useless Keysand Muzz.
